Hey there, I'm Chris. I'm into just about every genre of music imaginable, and an internet radio show is a great way for me to show the world the music I love, and hopefully expose people to new and wonderful sounds.

My radio career began in 1998 as a member of a comedy show called the Comedy Pigpen on Concordia University's CJLO. This was a good place to start because it was quite the challenge to keep up with three really talented and funny guys. Between long disussions and comedy bits the members and I would play mostly metal and punk tunes while the boys would go and smoke cigarettes (and other things) in the offices of the Concordian newspaper. It's here that I noticed the power of playing more underground music. People would call the station and ask about particular songs we were playing.

I continued at CJLO for the next few years, first in a partnership with my friend Jeb as the Bloch and Black show, and then later with the beginning stage of the No Use For A Name Show. Jeb was a good radio partner because I was really into the heaviest of heavy music, and he was into techno and more mellow stuff. This intrigued me a lot. By the time I was doing the solo thing I would end a set with Napalm Death and then go straight into BB King. I thought I had hit onto something good.

In the summer of 2002 I started doing an internet radio show at Error FM and I've been loving it ever since. An additional goal I set for this show was to expose more underground bands from the Montreal scene as well as the rest of Canada to the world. This is how CANCON was meant to be.

I hope you'll come check out my show as well as tell all your friends. You can always make a request (check the request list page- it features over 7000 cds you can chose from,) come to the Error FM chatroom, or get a hold of me by e-mail or AIM.

I look forward to hearing from you, and hopefully helping you discover some great music.
